We all have moments in our day when we don’t feel like the beautiful heart in this picture, but more like they grey sky. These grey moments are made up of the negative talk we create in our minds, about ourselves and about others.
Beautiful heart moments are those when we catch ourselves in grateful moments, looking for the positives, feeling whatever is real for us at the time and remaining detached from the stories about those feelings.
When in a grey moment, notice that is where you are. Notice what is happening in your mind and in your body. Decide to change your mind, and set about having a beautiful heart moment instead. Soon, it will be a habit and the grey moments will be just that…moments.
